Time Lapse Photography

There are any number of ways to accomplish time lapse photography which is a series of images, viewed as a video sequence in a compressed duration. The most straight forward method is to record video in real time and speed up its playback in post. The down side is that to span a long interval of time, you end up working with a very large video file. An alternative is to assemble a series of still photos taken at a fixed interval over a long period of time.
