Comment: As the sun broke through the heavy cloud cover again, she moved down the dune face into the shade
By mid-afternoon, she flew left to a closer dune with all of the photographers and bird watchers following at a respectful distance

After she spent all morning behind a small dune, no one expected she would fly to the top of a dune closer to the roped-off photographers

An hour after her short flight, she moved back to the right and deeper into the dunes where she waited for the sun to set before she could start hunting

Our final morning with her found her on the south beach by the tidal pool in gorgeous light that only lasted about 20 minutes before the approaching cold front brought rain
