Comment: After she spent all morning behind a small dune, no one expected she would fly to the top of a dune closer to the roped-off photographers

In the early afternoon we got a good look at her powerful legs while she was walking around

By mid-afternoon, she flew left to a closer dune with all of the photographers and bird watchers following at a respectful distance

As the sun broke through the heavy cloud cover again, she moved down the dune face into the shade

An hour after her short flight, she moved back to the right and deeper into the dunes where she waited for the sun to set before she could start hunting
